Again I must hype Bon Iver's new album, it hit just on the right spot on the right time. Beautiful. My favorites at this very moment are Wash and Holocene. Closing track on the album comes behind the corner and you wonder if the channel changed or what just happened, so different compared to the other ones on the record. Beth/Rest is a pure neo eighties ballade, a cocktail of Top Gun, Falcon Crest, L.A.Law, Lionel Richie, colourful drinks with umbrellas and fluttering chiffon clothes, sax and synth and electric guitar, which all them touch my eighties heart deep! You can stream the album here. It comes out next week, perfect timing again, I'll be able to get it before summer holidays.
