Heja heja Finland!!

I've been working tooo much and climbing tooo little. Should get my stuff in order before ZA, so I'm hoping for super powers to handle all the work and still be able to do some climbing on plastic or rock whatever will do at this point. A very nice video from Bleau made by Finns, I luv especially the last problem Rainbow Rocket that was pure Hollywood action blast (in a good way) followed by my favorite Finnish power word.

So Finland won the World Hockey Championships last Sunday and the whole country went coucou. With mixed feelings I watched videos and news on how fellow Finns united to party hardy with mean blood-alcohol content between 2 and 3 per mill. The best clip that summarizes the whole thing is this one, where the assistant coach of the Finnish team lands on home soil. Nice work boyz, but to me the true cock'n'balls heroes are like the ones in the following film. One of the guys can also be spotted in this film under murky conditions.

Rocklands...

At the moment the hot spot to go bouldering is Eastern Finland, but as usual I'm late in trends sooo finally after planning and wishing for so many years the trip to South Africa is now booked and bought. Flight tix check, accommodation check, duration 29 days. Six months to go... Some drums for cold nights and while waiting here.

So nice that they started this new series about Finnish people and Finland. Just when we were thought to be closer to normal, they decide to show this documentary in SVT (Swedish television). First episodes topic is nudity. I got myself couple of good laughs... Here is a link to it (language is Finnish with Swedish subtitles), don't know if it is available outside Sweden though.
