My friend visited some refugee camps in Ghana several years ago and she told about this blind girl she met. This girl was banded by her family because she had this disability and because she did not have the support and protection of her family she had been raped seven times and was now pregnant. Even though all these awful things and the not so bright future she was smiling with the biggest smile and looked very happy. Inspirational and also makes you appreciate the safe life we live. It is also one of the good reasons why watch documentary films, to appreciate your life more and be happy, too bad that we need to be reminded. I am really looking forward for this film and the inspirational people in it.

Save the sharks!
One image made me cry this week and it was footage of a shark that was put back into the sea after they had cut its dorsal fin and tail of. Fish without those two crucial body parts will just sink to the bottom and die. Another reminder to not buy fish products that come from Asia or other parts of the world where overfishing and these types of methods are in use. Tuna is the worst. For a reminder check this and a milder version of it.
