Medicine

I did a little trial for a detox smoothie after very nice weekend full with festivities. And I think I hit the jackpot this time. The color was almost resistible, and the taste was absolutely disgustingly healthy good. Evil spirits were long gone after drinking this little smuuti baby! Recipe for this masterpiece: fistful of sprouts and salad leaves, half a cucumber and one stick of celery, mix it and drink it and let the prana rush into you!

One of the most disturbing experiences this year has been Radiohead's video of the song "Lotus Flower", creepy and disturbing it was. But in this context it actually isn't that creepy or disturbing anymore. Ah, booy I got a huge crush on Patrick Dempsey when I saw that movie. This song is for you Pat!

Time flies and years go by!

But I don't mind, I can't wait to get some wisdom in my head! I know that the next decade will be more juicy and fruitful. Groovy through the years with luuuv! Yeaah baby!! Let the music play!!

Diana Ross

I hade some friends visiting me last summer and we were driving in the city searching for a restaurant for dinner. After a silent moment (very unusual with finns) one of my friends asked me: "Who is that little young Indian boy in the picture above your tv?" I was puzzled first but replied it was Diana Ross. I can't believe my friends thought I had a picture of young Indian boy on my wall, and that they had talked about it and were worried about my state of mind. The picture is one of the best ones I've ever seen taken from an artist, take a look to see my point. Diana Ross was probably the first artist I ever learnt to recognize by name or from voice and I was between 4 or 5 years. Baby love and You can't hurry love were the first songs I remember, Reflections was BIG, Love hangover, I'm coming out and the long single version of Ain't no mountain high enough, duet with Marvin Stop look listen (to your heart). So so many good ones! Almost all the songs performed by her with and without The Supremes gave me goosepumbs and still do. No matter if they sound similar or the lyrics are simple and naive, there is just something that touches ma soul and brings smile on my face!

BTW: got to climb twice outside this weekend in a beautiful weather, must be a record! Fingertips are thin in skin and acheing - jippej!!!

Stevie Nicks

I don't think I've hyped her yet. She is a streetwise Queen, beautiful and gorgeous with rough and powerful voice, she's been around and she has fire burning inside of her. Love her! Here an older remix of Stand Back, but the video is so good that I had to put it. I think Prince is playing the synth in this one.

Now and forever

Taking the supa trendy russian style hat to another level. Instead of stuffing my sweet doggy after her time has gone in her present solid form I might just make a hat out of her, that way we could be together forever. One of this autumns or winters best songs. Robert Smith, the love of my life, I luv you now and forever.
